I stopped asking, **"What's the next song going to sound like?"**
Instead, I started asking questions about the equipment.
How much bass?
How much detail?
How wide is the soundstage?
How does it measure?
Without realizing it, I slowly drifted away from the very thing that brought me into this hobby in the first place.
This isn't a review.
It's a reflection.
Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to listen to hundreds of incredible systems and review some of the finest audio equipment in the world. But through that journey, I discovered something I never expected.
The thing I was chasing...
was there all along.
