While perhaps fine all by itself, when comparing Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget to the qualities of the original, a lot of stark flaws start to become apparent. And so in revisiting this movie one year later, I'm starting to come to the conclusion that as a sequel, this movie really wasn't it. I might have high praises for the craft and Aardman as a studio, but when looking at the bigger picture, it kinda seems like this corporate attempt was kinda The TERRIBLE Chicken Run Sequel...?
