This is Netflix's latest animated production. And it is... weird. We saw a trailer for this a few weeks back, hosting an odd artistic style, adapted from an award winning children's book. But with so little pages to adapt, how does a bigwig animation studio fill in all the gaps? Why of course, by taking from Illumination character archetypes, sprinkled with a bit of Sing elements and finishing up with all the standard fame storylines! All coming together to make a film that is narratively non-outstanding, but visually a real eyesore. With cringe being the centre of the style of humour. And backhanded compliments.
