The H-ACE (Hanwha Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence), South Korea’s
first overseas defense production facility, has been opened in Geelong, Victoria, Australia.

With the establishment of H-ACE, South Korea and Australia aim to enhance
defense and security industry cooperation, and revitalize the local economy
through bringing back manufacturing to the Geelong Region.

The H-ACE will serve as a foothold for expanding to the 'AUKUS (Australia-
UK-US Security Partnership)' and 'Five Eyes (Australia-New Zealand-US-UK-
Canada Intelligence Alliance)' markets.
