Hanwha Aerospace participated in CANSEC 2025, held in Ottawa, Canada from May 28 to 29, where it presented its defense solutions for the Canadian Army’s Indirect Fire Modernization (IFM) program.

Hanwha showcased a wide range of ground and naval defense solutions, from the ground solution so-called "K9 Package" featuring the K9 Self-Propelled Howitzer, K10 Ammunition Resupply Vehicle, and Wheeled SPH to the Chunmoo MRLS, as well as the Jangbogo-III Batch-II (KSS-III) submarine, proposed for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP), a defense acquisition program valued at up to 60 trillion KRW.

Michael Coulter, Hanwha Global Defense CEO & President, expressed Hanwha’s ambition to expand its influence in the global defense industry, emphasizing North America and Canada as key hubs, during his CEO speech and interviews.
