It's a small device that shows if your swr [ standing wave ratio ] is ok. You place it between your transmitter and an antennatuner or antenna. If the led glows very low than your swr is ok but when the led shines brightly than the swr is very bad and than you have to retune your antennatuner or adjust your antenna.

It uses the reflected inputpower from your transmitter via de diodes. The diodes act like a rectifier so no battery of powersupply is necessary. Always use low power [ 5 Watt of less ] to protect your transmitter. If all is well just switch the swr indicator on through of disconnect the swr indicator.
