Now we're ascending to the gods domain, but as we progress a black hole type thing appears behind us. At first it's just in the background, being menacing. But as we progress it starts to actively pursue us, sucking up enemies and killing them if they get caught in it. This thing comes out of nowhere and is kind of creepy with how it's just suddenly there behind you. But it can be helpful to deal with some stronger enemies.
The boss we see get corrupted in front of us by a black cloud, turning a generic rock monster boss into this twitching, bug-like creature that has erratic attacks where he spins around making tornados and flying into you. It's not too hard though, and I believe it's attacks will hurt the regular enemies that join the fight too.
