$The Sun July 4 2024 Great seeing had been forecast at a site 75 minutes north of where I live for July 4th. I was up at 4am and after setting up at dawn discovered the seeing was only average. Despite that I got some nice photos from about 7-9am mountain time. Heres a montage of some of the better ones, along with a short time lapse of an active region. Fascinating stuff. $Relaxing Astronomy Photos Oct 2024 A relaxing series of 4K photos of deep space objects, planets and the Moon accompanied by calming music. These are all real astrophotos; nothing artificial or AI is shown. Most photos were taken by me in Arizona or Namibia. For a few I used Telescope.live data, and processed the images myself. Most images are shown in actual real colors using a color camera. Some images (notably the predominantly green ones) are narrowband images where Hydrogen is mapped to green using the Hubble palette.
