Long before the cross was raised, long before nails pierced flesh, God spoke with stunning clarity about a Savior who would be rejected, crushed, and silent in His suffering.
Isaiah shows us that Christmas cannot be separated from the cross. The child born to us would be a man of sorrows. The promised King would come through humiliation. The Servant would bear our griefs, carry our sins, and be wounded for our transgressions. This is not a vague shadow. It is a clear and costly picture of the work Christ came to accomplish.
