In this week's episode of The Studio Sessions, we explore Saint-Saëns' Danse Bacchanale from his opera 'Samson and Delilah'. Taking its name from Bacchus, mythological god of wine and fertility, a bacchanale is a tactile and pleasing dance. This interpretation was arranged by our Section Principal Second Violin Gail Aitken.
