Whilst striving to resolve the results of my recent YouTube survey on whether my subscribers prefer my old fashioned 'live from my spare room' style videos, or slideshow-style presentations which used a smattering of AI imagery to best present my music on YouTube, I became inspired to create this new improvisation on the ancient Greek myth of the striving of Sisyphus!
In Classical Mythology, Sisyphus was a cunning king who defied the gods - leading to his eternal punishment: to roll a boulder uphill, only for it to roll back down each time he neared the summit!
This story encapsulates themes of struggle, resilience, and the search for meaning in a seemingly futile existence.
My own recent YouTube strivings were around the issue of how to produce slideshow-style presentations of my music without the use of AI imagery: when high resolution, public domain images are now becoming almost impossible to find. Out of my YouTube survey, the general consensus was that AI imagery was not only not preffered, but was deemed unethical - so here is new a video with only natural ingredients & definitely no AI additives...enjoy!
