Canoeing enthusiasts are probably familiar with the Wildfire, Flashfire, and Starfire designs from Charlie Wilson and David Yost. They were made originally by Bell Canoe, and then Colden Canoe, and we now have the moulds to bring them back to life. The Starfire is not on our website or pricelist, but is available by special order.
All three models of the 'Fire' series are symmetrical from the waterline down, but above the waterline they have a unique forward-leaning design. They're incredible river tripping boats, and the Starfire is delightfully playful despite its surprising width. It's one of the rare boats that can be outfitted as a solo or tandem depending on your needs. We built this heavy duty Starfire for our friend Jason in our Expedition Kevlar laminate with a couple extra custom details. Check it out!
