Watch as we double the size of the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage for our performances of Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder. Our Chief Conductor Simone Young described the work as ‘the biggest orchestra you can’t fit on stage’ – and she wasn’t wrong! With an orchestra of 140 musicians, a chorus of over 280, 5 soloists, 1 narrator and our Chief Conductor, Simone Young conducts Gurrelieder opens tomorrow night!
