Another small song I wrote.

This song is a song that just needs to exist.
It might not even rhyme.
Well, I guess most of the time...
How did we come to this?
The world was looking so great 20 years ago.
Things went forward and the future looked bright.
Now, we can't even afford the rent as money is tight.
Things could be so great - Noone on the streets,
No sickness, no hate.
But none of this shall come true,
Because of the greed of the elite few.
Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are pathing the way to the stars.
But they won't care to fix what's going on on this earth.
Why would they?
They don't even care about us...
The leaders of the free world are on the Epstein Files,
And I wish I could say "It is just America".
Germany does not look well and so does the rest of the EU.
Putin attacks civilians in Ukraine,
And Netanjahu kind of does the same.
And to add some flow:
He also thinks Palestine was promised to him three thousand years, ago.
Both are terrible leaders and possibly insane...
Netanjahu thinks he can get away with everything,
And he might not even be wrong,
Seeing that the world already watches him do as he wants for so long.
A bright fair world for all would be possible,
But we won't see that.
No, we won't see that because the powerful just care about themselves.
It is hard not to lose hope or feel forgotten,
When those who dare to speak in our name,
Don't care about our daily pain.
I am sorry for putting it so bluntly in this song without proper rhymes,
But at times some things just need to be said.
And I just didn't have good words for it,
But I still wanted to express myself.
