In this video I take a look at the Triton Audio Fethead Phantom to see if it helps me reduce the preamp noise in my recordings caused by the relatively low quality preamps in my Tascam DR-40X recorder. The Fethead Phantom is a special version of the popular Fethead preamp that is designed for use with condenser microphones and therefore, while being powered by phantom power itself, it also passes phantom power through to your connected microphone.
