PlayStation 3 is my favorite console, and there's nothing more fun than firing up a bunch of launch games with your buddy and reviewing them. A lot of these still hold up to this day! Others are pretty awful. But ya know, it's still PS3. So it's always a good time.

Its our first full week of PlayStation announcing the end of physical disc games and theyve finally broken their silence. They are indeed completely ignoring the controversy (for now, at least). There is some INTENSE fan pushback with cancelling PS Plus, online petitions, and even politicians are joining in. To make the week worse, we saw Microsoft announce some shocking layoffs to the XBOX division. 3,200 jobs! Studios being spun off, and some of them now a shell of their former selves? Theres a lot of unknowns happening right now. And theres a lot of unowns in the Johto region. But some of you already knew that.

This week we had the PlayStation System Architect Mark Cerny talk a lot about their collaboration with AMD. Were hearing a lot of things about PS5 Pros big 2026 update, but also Marks plans for next-gen! Which is still sounding like itll be a multi-year process. We also had huge breaking news yesterday that Sony is willingly shipping Helldivers 2 on Xbox Series X. And this would be the first PS Studios game where they are doing this deliberately by their own choice. So the times really have changed now huh.. We also have news about Stop Killing Games, Death Stranding 2s launch sales, Naughty Dog stuff, Insomniac stuff, and Firesprite stuff! And who doesnt love stuff? I love stuff.
