Step behind the scenes with our Virtual Production students as they bring The Silent Crossroad to life at VU Studios Orlando. Directed by Animation Instructor Braden Bunk, this project is a masterclass in the Volume Technique—an advanced filmmaking method that uses massive LED walls and Unreal Engine to create immersive, real-time environments.
If this technique sounds familiar, that’s because it’s the same groundbreaking method used in productions like The Mandalorian, where even our DAVE School graduates have made their mark. But this isn’t just about learning—it’s about doing. Our students didn’t just study Virtual Production; they experienced it, collaborating in a professional studio environment, designing, directing, and capturing cinematic scenes.
