In the early 1700s, a pirate crew ventures into treacherous waters in search of a rumored Spanish artifact lost to a devastating storm. What begins as a triumphant discovery soon unsettles the balance aboard the ship, as something long buried is brought back into the light.
La Espada Trastornada is a dark, atmospheric, character-driven short film that explores ambition, fate, and the dangerous allure of power, showing how corruption can take hold quietly. This short film was created by DAVE students as a hands-on, production-driven experience guided by faculty mentorship. Students contributed across animation, modeling, lighting, compositing, and real-time workflows, working within a professional studio-style pipeline from concept to final delivery.
