This was the final block project for our VFX Class last term. All together, focussing on individual talents of the students, we decided to focus on animation, texture, and story.
Film Decription:
In a shadowy forest filled with wonder, an aging witch retreats to her creaky, weathered hut to craft a potion that will restore her long-lost youth. With determination, she gathers her ingredients, enacts the spell, and stirs the bubbling brew, only for a pesky bug to send the carefully crafted ritual into chaos. The potion spirals out of control, exploding in a spectacular display of magic gone wrong—leaving the witch charred, frazzled, and a tad less than youthful.. From the smoke and debris, however, emerges the bug, now transformed into the most dazzlingly beautiful butterfly, fluttering smugly around the singed sorceress.
