Formed in the summer of 1979, the Sidewalks blended the pop sounds of the 60s British Invasion with the hot new wave acts of the time. The band sustained numerous line-up changes following frequent visits to the recording studio. Though they laid down a plentiful array of outstanding power pop tracks, they only managed to put out this one single. Lack of major label interest led to their demise after a few years.
