Peacemaker finds himself trapped in limbo when Reckless, a selfish and vicious spirit, takes the opportunity to possess Peace’s body and throw his soul into the Final Exit. The Final Exit is a place that manifests itself as a dragon’s afterlife, meaning it takes the form of whatever the dragon believes they deserve. However, Peacemaker is about to get the shock of his life when he realizes what happens to evil dragons when they die.
So, in all seriousness, this was a college project I did in three/two weeks. And man, was it a process to go through. Storyboards, background designs and finalizing any character designs I had. I actually hit a creative block on the weekend, which set me back and drastically impacted how this turned out. All the hand drawn animation was done in Procreate, while all the editing was done in After Effects and a little of Premiere Pro when I lost my patience with After Effects. My honest opinion: I’ve done better animations, but I’m glad with how it turned out with the time we were given.
