Guys I stayed up until 3:30 finishing this. I’m so tired.
Another school project out of the way and finished! I didn’t feel like this was just a PMV, so I’m also labeling it an animatic. This takes place alongside A Winter’s Heart, but is more of a standalone story. The characters live far enough away from the clans that they don’t need to necessarily worry about what’s going on back there.
This is the story of Pigeon, a former kittypet turned loner. Pigeon lives alone in an old church, hiding away from other cats and twolegs after a hawk attacked him. While he survived, the attack left him with scars, a blind eye and a missing ear. Rejected by his old peers and abandoned by his old twolegs, Pigeon’s low self esteem and confidence eats away until he becomes a shell of his former self. One day, a few moons after he moved into the church, two former clan cats come to Pigeon’s home. Glasswhisker, exiled from SkyClan after saving a fox cub from a snare, and her apprentice, Wishpaw. Reluctantly, Pigeon lets them stay, keeping his distance initially, but slowly opening up to Glasswhisker, who doesn’t see him as a monster for his looks. She comforts and supports him through the low points during his days, returning the kindness he showed her and Wishpaw by letting them stay. Together, the three start to form their own little type of family, and Pigeon finally starts to regain some sense of who he was.

Glasswhisker (She/Her): Calico she-cat with scars all over her body
Wishpaw (They/Them): Pale and flame colored cat with brilliant blue eyes
