What is it like to be GAY and ORTHODOX JEWISH? I meet with Micah, a 22-year-old, ex-Orthodox Jewish gay man living in Jerusalem, to have a conversation about what it was like growing up Orthodox Jewish and gay. It was an enlightening conversation because the Orthodox Jewish community is one that I know so little about. I've seen scripted stories on mainstream media such as "Unorthodox" but I have yet to see an honest portrayal of what it is like to be gay (or queer) and Orthodox Jewish.
