Let’s get started with AMD. So, The 6500 XT is finally out, and AMD Never really wanted to launch this GPU on the desktop platform. They just had the opportunity to get rid of bad Navi 24 XL dies… and backlash aside, I mean every reviewer has pretty much been bashing this thing, They succeeded.
Now, I said they didn’t want to launch it on desktop… That’s because it was primarily meant for laptops. When paired with a new Rembrandt CPU, a lot of the complaints disappear. That’s because Ryzen 6000, the laptop cpu’s, will pick up most of the slack. They all have PCI-E gen 4, all have video encoders and even an AV1 decoder, Check, and they have their own display pipeline with the IGP giving you up to 4 display outputs. The last problem remaining is the 4gb of Vram.
