The Rusted Heart vs. The Enlightenment Mind 🧠❤️🌙

The Qur'an speaks of the heart being rusted — and in need of polishing to reflect truth.

But what is the heart?

Not the physical one. This is the spiritual heart — the seat of inner knowledge. The heart that sees the signs of God.

🔍 Yet in modern philosophy, this was denied. Immanuel Kant, in his Critique of Pure Reason, rejected direct metaphysical knowledge — cutting off the heart’s ability to know Divine truths directly.

But the heart isn’t just an Islamic idea.
📖 Jesus (peace be upon him) says:

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

In Islam, we say the same — though not literally seeing God until the Day of Judgment — we believe the pure heart sees God's signs in the world:

Ayatullah — The Signs of God.
