Only legitimate authority can make such a decision, and even then, only under strict ethical conditions.
🔹 Historically, from Ibn Taymiyyah’s writings to discussions of Dar al-Harb and Dar al-Islam, some jurists used categories reflecting their time — a time when international law didn’t exist, and war was the norm.
Nations like England, France, and others acted on raw power, not justice.

It was a response to oppression, threat, and injustice — regulated by ethics, intention, and authority.
💭 Let’s reclaim the narrative. Jihad is not terrorism. Jihad is not lawlessness.
It’s a sacred trust.
And the highest form of Jihad is internal — against the ego.
