Track 3 from their 1969 LP 'In A Country Field'.
I would love to see albums like this remastered and released digitally but I'm not holding my breath.
I admit to owning no copyrights to this music but just have a desire to share these long forgotten gems.

Sleeve Notes:
I remember one evenong in a serviceman's hall in Denver Colorado, listening to an Irish Showband playing country music to an American audience.
And one tobacco chewing veteran, standing at the foot of the stage turned to a companion in a stetson and said: "These boys sure have a feel for our kindof music."
Those boys were the Royal Blues, eight young men from Mayo, in the west of Ireland.
They have indeed, a love for country and western styles.
This is their presentation. From the hilarious "Kansas City Star" to the intricate harmonies of "High As A Mountain" the Blues display a Nashville touch like true born sons.
In fact some of the tracks on this album were taped in the Tennessean shrine of country music. Six of the Royal Blues share the twelve songs, showcasing a versatility supreme.
It is the first Blues album and they decided to keep it country, in view of it's popularity on this side of the Atlantic in these times.

DOC CARROLL, lead guitarist, FRANK GILL, band leader, BRIAN CARR is the bass player, BRENDAN ARNOLD is rhythm guitarist, PADDY LYNCH handles the trombone and JOE QUIGLEY is the lead singer. These are the boys featued on this long player,
but they are backed up by on disc (and liveperformances) by BOBBY SMITH, trumpet, and drummer, DON FLANAGAN.
