The Rogue Prince of Persia was made by Evil Empire, the spinoff studio Motion Twin created while working on Dead Cells. It’s not the first indie studio to work with a big company like Ubisoft on a big IP like Prince of Persia, especially in the roguelike department. My favorite was Brace Yourself Games working on Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda for Nintendo as a spinoff sequel to Crypt of the NecroDancer.
