Over the years we’ve witnessed many incredible barbell moments made by the Fittest on Earth. We’ll be highlighting some of our favorites as we get ready for the 2024 CrossFit Games.

In 2016, athletes woke up at 3:30AM to travel to The Ranch in Aromas, California for Day 1 of competition at the CrossFit Games. The first two events were a repeat of the first two events at the 2009 CrossFit Games - a 7K Trail Run followed by a Deadlift Ladder featuring 20 Ohio Deadlift Bars loaded from 425LB-615LB (275LB-415LB for females).

Our Ohio Deadlift Bars were put to the test with over 300,000LBS (150 tons) lifted across all 80 athletes. @samdancing and @brookewellss were the only two athletes to complete the ladder, making it through all 20 bars ending with big pulls at 615lB and 415LB.
