We’re looking back on some of our favorite barbell moments from over the years. Next up is Hafthor Bjornsson's record setting 501kg (1,104lb) deadlift made with the Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar.

Two months after winning his 3rd straight Arnold Strongman Classic title, Hafthor Bjornsson set out to break the 500KG deadlift world record previously set by Eddie Hall in 2016. On May 2nd, 2020 Hafthor made history, lifting 501KG with the Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar. The record still stands. Hafthor went on to retire from Strongman, competing in boxing and powerlifting. He returned to the sport earlier this year and is preparing to compete at the @theshawclassic in August.
