Over the years we’ve witnessed many incredible barbell moments made by the Fittest on Earth. Over the next couple of weeks we will be highlighting some of our favorites as we getting ready for the 2024 CrossFit Games.

In 2021, a new men’s CrossFit Games champion would be crowned with Mat Fraser retiring from the sport after a legendary career and five titles. After a podium finish in his 2020 rookie debut, Justin Medeiros returned to the Games hungry for that top spot. With only two event finishes outside of top 10, Justin Medeiros headed into the final event at the top of the leaderboard but had yet to win an event. He saved his best for last and won in style, overhead lunging the Rogue C-70S Short Bar into the finish line and into the arms of his family, acheiving his goal and earning the title of Fittest on Earth.
