The RTC recently conducted a feasibility and alignment study to see if a new road between Spanish Springs/Sparks and the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center would be a viable option. It studied several corridors and found that the preferred alternative would connect at Vista Boulevard near Golden Eagle Regional Park.
