So I have two copies of "The Rescuers" by mistake and yet I only have one for its far, FAR superior sequel, "The Rescuers Down Under". Then again, I DID used to have a different copy of this film on VHS but it got lost or sold off, not sure what happened to it but still, this is a copy I acquired from a charity store. And in surprisingly good quality, actually! Anyhoo, enjoy!

3) Promo for "The Sword in the Stone", "Dumbo", "Song of the South" ("A delightful Disney classic that'll keep you laughing for a lifetime!" Oh I'm sure Disney themselves by 1998 weren't laughing anymore. =P) and "Alice in Wonderland"
4) "Coming Soon to a Cinema Near You"
5) "Peter Pan" condensed 1992 re-release trailer (Oooh, rare find, it seems! Nice! Also, I dunno by their remark of "the one Summer movie you won't want to miss", 1992 had "Batman Returns"! Well...IF this VHS was released in 1992)
6) "Stay Tuned for More News of Disney's Video Releases After the Main Feature" title screen (So far while doing these, this is the most un-Disney thing I've encountered in all of the Disney VHSes I've used so far. Just so...bold and...stark.)

EDIT: Right, so Ive discovered that PromoLovas already uploaded this, in better quality even! BUT Ill make up for the coincidental duplicate post in time, I swear. A lot of VHS presentation-orientated goodies are on the way. :D
Actually, you know what? Im so happy that Im able to make this work that Im uploading the first one of these NOW. FIRST DISNEY TRAILER REEL, YES!
Sorry for the over-enthusiasm but...heh, it just feels fantastic to finally be uploading trailer reels again, now I have better technology to work with. Well...hopefully so, it depends on what we see later on but still, here we go! Enjoy! :D And my apologies for some jitters in some parts, its in very clear, watchable quality other than that. Do know this IS a VHS that I played a lot so...yeah, expect that. ;)

6) The Aristocats Home Video Promo (An underrated Disney movie! Not as bad as people say it is. Not AMAZING but certainly still enjoyable. Loved it as a kid though so perhaps Im biast. ;) )
7) Also Available from Walt Disney Home Video / Walt Disney Classics promo (With Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood and Mary Poppins. I miss the days when these things were categorized in a way that was meaningful, now its a lot more all over-the-place. Oh, and Boom-BUMP! THE END!)
8) Disneyland Paris ad (This must of been JUST after they renamed the resort Disneyland Paris as it all REALLY started getting popular when they brought Space Mountain in a year later, yet at that point most still referred to it as EuroDisney just before SM got launched...still, nice. And yes, I know, Im a massive dork.)

*Speculatively restored, going by visual cues in the advert itself - details below.
So...I was gonna wait until around the date this album got officially released or the day/month anniversary of when this perticularly rare, unique ad was broadcast (24th November 1994, thanks to SozLike back in 08) but...I couldnt wait. x)
This is obviously NOT my own capture, but now that I could see people managed to upload this album on YT without troubles, thought now would be a good time to get a version up where all the musics there.
NOW, as said above this is all speculative. Gotta hand it to the marketing department behind this ad though, for *some* reason, they decided to give the played music names and When 2 R In Love plays, the lyrics are even there. So using the titles of tracks displayed prominently enough and using those little stereo bars there, I got a rough idea what played and where. No idea how close I actually am to the real thing, though if one day a *much* nicer quality version of this could be uploaded with the real audio, that would be cool. For now, heres this~
I listened to the album a few years ago after finding this ad. It was okay. The mystique behind the album is more interesting than the album *itself*. Im also glad Warner decided not to re-release this as part of making the rest of Princes back-catalogue avaliable online and on streaming (naughty naughty, capitalism), though if they ever decide to re-release it as a posthumous thing...yeah...dunno what Ill do with this upload at that point.
Also wanna know two more things:
1) I put some subtle VHS distortion sound on here too so it would all be more organic.
And 2) Apologies that the video quality is not fantastic, hardly much I can do about that. 240p was the highest resolution avaliable and attempts to boost the framerate to something more accurate made it look like *butt*, so there we are.
