In todays video R3Ds Kingdom has graciously given CDFDMAN and I access to the Pre-Release version of the final chapter in the EXODUS Series, EXODUS Season 3: Genesis! CDF and I both agree this is one of, if not THE, best map we have ever played. Truly a masterpiece. Join us in analyzing the art form of mapmaking as we discover what happened to this world. Can you solve this challenge with the lowest performance hit possible? Submit your creations in the comments!
NOTE: ***First step is always on the next tick. All subsequent steps are done every cycleTime ticks later.
• Use the fewest number of commands and/or lowest performance hit possible
• Must be 1.12 compatible.
• You are allowed to use 1.12 mechanics but you dont have to.
• Must work for any number of entities simultaneously
• target always resets to -1.
• current can be between 0 and 8 (inclusive)
• No extra entities!
The Goal: The goal is to be able to set an entitys target score to a number between 0 & 8 (inclusive). Then, every cycleTime number of ticks, the entitys score will advance 1 closer to the target until it arrives. At that point the entitys target score will reset to -1.
