Ableton 12 introduces an incredible set of new tools and updates to its midi effects that allow us to explore new sonic territory. By creating very fast arpeggiations new sounds can be achieved. These sounds harken back to the old days of retro video game music where composers like Koji Kondo figured out how to suggest complex chords to the listener by arpeggiating notes super fast. Now we can take this technique into the future with all the new and exciting ways we can interact with Ableton Live.
