It's almost time for Tom Holland to star in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and between that and the Black Panther trailer, we've got a heaping helping of new superhero movies that are continuing a common theme. Which we almost never question. So let's take some time to talk about secret identities and masks, and the real reasons that I think superheroes use them.
