In Jim Cameron and Tim Miller's Terminator: Dark Fate, a decision was made that likely ruined the entire franchise. Since the film's bad showing in the box office, a number of excuses have been offered by the filmmakers for this decision, including that it provides "Rocket Fuel" for the story's plot. In this video we'll address, and debunk, those excuses. And in the process, we'll provide an alternate explanation for how people balance moral and aesthetic desires, and the existence of what some call "System 1" and "System 2" thinking.
