Yesterday Nintendo surprised everyone with a
Star Fox Direct. And for about 30 seconds,
I was genuinely excited.

Then they revealed it's the third remake of
Star Fox 64. A 1997 game. A game you can
finish in under 2 hours. With identical stage
layouts to the original.

And Twitter is defending it. Hard.

I disagree — and I want to explain exactly why
the two biggest arguments in favor of this
announcement are getting it completely wrong.

This isn't negativity. This is standards.
