Hey guys, Jimmy here to answer your inevitable questions about why this series is now going to live on Facebook Watch instead of YouTube:
Let me start by saying, it's not like YouTube is out here helping their creators make stuff. This is just a good place to upload what we're making on our own. I paid for all of season 1 out of pocket and even though it did well, I still lost basically all of the money I put in. Which I'm not complaining about, I knew that was going to happen but you can probably understand why I didn't want to do that again. Especially considering season 2 cost wayy more to make than I even have in my bank account. Yes, seriously. There's 10 episodes in season 2 and they're all about 15 minutes which adds up to two and a half hours worth of content. Christian and I also had the creative freedom to write the show we wanted to write without me saying "nah maybe we shouldn't shoot an episode on a boat because I'm not fucking paying for that". I now realize there are many other reasons why you shouldn't shoot an episode on a boat but it's too late, that ship has sailed (BOOM). Season 1 was intended to help sell a bigger season 2, which it did. It's going to live on Facebook Watch because they bought the show, helped produce the show, everyone has a Facebook and it's a platform where you can still watch it for free. Seems like a win win to me. Which means the only reason you could possibly be pissed about this not being on YouTube is if you'd prefer that I lose money.
