A lot of times when I'm editing these balcony conversations, I'll find some shit like this where Christian and I just get super weird and stray so far from the script that there's no chance of it going in the actual video because it's just completely irrelevant to the concept. And I usually watch it and I'm like, "this is funny", and then my roommate is like 'what?'. At which point I'll look up and realize that I was so deep in edit mode with headphones on that I completely forgot there was someone else in the room and while I was under the impression I could have an uninterrupted conversation with myself, that isn't the case. So then I'm usually like, 'oh, I'm just looking at the footage from the video and there's some random funny shit on here I think I might upload on like Friday or something just for fun' and he walks over and he's like 'let me check it out'. So I show him and he laughs and then he's like 'yo that is pretty funny' and I'm like 'I know man, I just said that, I'm not asking you to tell me if my videos are funny or not'. He's like 'whoa relax man, I was just saying I think funny, jeez' and I'm like 'You know what, I'm sorry. I overreacted. I've just been sitting in front of this computer editing for 4 hours and I'm on edge. I appreciate you, thanks man'. He walks away, I wait until I hear the door of his bedroom shut and then I unzip the secret compartment of my backpack and pull out my diary which I open to the very last page and add that interaction to the growing list of reasons why I should kill my roommate.
