One of the most confounding questions for anyone visiting Bangkok is why it's so hard to find authentic Vietnamese food. After all, the two countries share the same corner of the world and are both considered global culinary powers. So this week, we explore the untold shared history between Thailand and Vietnam, explore their connections and complicated relationship, and visit the settlements of a few of the waves of refugees who are here in the city- hidden in plain sight.
