I have noticed that flat earthers have been talking about a supposed lack of evidence for some "R value". With that, they mean to say that there is no evidence for our accepted value of the radius of earth.
In this video, I will describe Eratosthenes's experiment to measure the radius of the earth. You can slightly change the experiment so you can actually figure out the shape of the earth. I propose how the results should look in two models: one where the earth is flat and one where the earth is a sphere.
My challenge to all flat earthers and globe believers: be a true skeptic and test your beliefs: only 1 model will be compatible with the results.
If there is sufficient interest, I will help coordinate measurements all over the planet and collect data through citizen science. I will test the models over a live broadcast and if it turns out that the data fits the flat earth model, I will write up a paper and submit it to a peer reviewed journal.
