Ada Limón reads her poem “The Quiet Machine".

She is the 24th Poet Laureate of the United States. She’s written six books of poetry, including The Hurting Kind. Her volume The Carrying won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, and Bright Dead Things was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her original poem will be engraved on NASA's Europa Clipper, which will launch in 2024, and by 2030, be orbiting Jupiter .
