The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor Returns to Long Beach for the 2024 Halloween Season
After a Multi-Year Hiatus, the Notoriously Haunted Ship Revives Its Fan-Favorite Event
LONG BEACH, CA | APRIL 30, 2024 – Recognized as one of the Top 10 Most Haunted Places in America by Time Magazine, The Queen Mary is a hotbed for ghost sightings, scares, and paranormal activity in Southern California. From 2010 to 2019, the legendary Dark Harbor Halloween event thrilled Long Beach locals and visitors alike. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and extensive renovations on the ship forced the event to take a break. Now, after a four-year hiatus, Dark Harbor makes its triumphant return, and "The Spirits Rise" once again aboard The Queen Mary!
Dark Harbor is a sprawling Halloween festival that spans The Queen Mary and its harbor surroundings. This year’s event promises haunted mazes, live entertainment, themed bars and lounges, onboard ship experiences, festive food and drinks, and the return of iconic characters. Detailed information about the 2024 attractions will be released in the coming months, featuring a mix of fan favorites and exciting new surprises.
As Southern California's most haunted Halloween experience, Dark Harbor will kick off on Friday, September 20th, and run select nights through Saturday, November 2nd.
