Is this Breguet a watch purist's dream? Here, I'm unboxing the Tradition 7057BB/11/9W6. This 40mm white gold watch is just pure Breguet, with its design directly influenced by the master's pocket watches from the late 1790s. Proudly displayed dial-side are satin-finished bridges, exposed gears, a central mainspring, the escapement, and more, as well as typical features like a power reserve and, of course, the dial, which is small and guillochéd. Priced at just under £17,000 pre-owned, is there a better way to get this level of watchmaking on the wrist?
