There are loads of scenes in TV shows, films, and other popular media where a character will encounter a locked door or cabinet or treasure chest, etc, and with barely so much as a second thought they will produce a firearm and blast their way into the secured room or container, often with a single shot. How realistic is this? And, more importantly, how SAFE is it to actually try such a technique?
My good friend Gun Bunny and I wanted to separate fact from fiction and apply her skill with guns along with my skill with locks in a series of controlled tests. Now many of you might be saying, "Dev, there are LOTS of folk on YouTube who have already done videos like this." And you're right. But as you'll see discussed in the intro, Bunny and I point out flaws with the techniques used in many other videos that have purported to treat this topic previously. Let us know if you think we did it better than others have before now!
