This is the little selfie-stick style phone stand that I use when I'm on the road. I misspoke in the video, BTW, the tiny light recharges via microUSB, not USB-C. That's not something I generally think about, however, because the light is really small and I don't use it for filming, so I never have to charge it...

A few folk have asked me in the past how I'm seemingly able to capture so much footage when I travel and also how I record talking head segments when I'm not in my home studio. The first thing I tell people is that my "studio" at home is really just my office desk with a couple of extra lights turned on when I'm staring at my phone's camera. Then I will show folk the little collapsible monopod style stand that you see linked above. That plus an attempt at decent audio is all it takes if you want to start a channel and put content out there. Enjoy! 👍😁👍
