This video is my progress report for April 2023 .... where I tell you how it's going with the fountain pens and inks I'm writing with! After the report card I chat a little (from the library room). I am writing with 10 pens primarily and finishing fills on a few more. Here is a list of the pens and inks I talked about:
1. Pelikan M800 (F) Black and Blue with Waterman Serenity Blue - pen gifted by pen friend M.S.
2. Jinhao X159 (F) Brown with Sailor 50 States Texas - pen gifted by pen friend C.S.
3. Pilot Vanishing Point (M) Rhodium + Gun Metal with Pilot Namiki Purple cartridge.
4. Kaweco Sport (BB) Mellow Blue with J. Herbin Kyanite du Nepal (shimmer ink) - pen gifted by pen friend B.B-R.
These 4 fountain pens are part of the ongoing Student Pen Project:
5. Cross Bailey Light (F) Teal with Cross Black cartridge
6. Kaweco Perkeo (M) All Black with Noodler's Heart of Darkness *** NOTE: I switched over to Van Dieman's Federation Peak ink *** PLEASE IGNORE THE WRITE-O in the ink journal --- it's not Birmingham it's Van Dieman's which was correct everywhere except the actual ink journal entry ugh.
7. Lamy ABC (A/beginner nib) Blue with Lamy Blue Cartridge
8. Faber Castell Fresh (M) with Schneider Violet - pen gifted from pen friends C.+G.S. Ink sample gifted from pen friend F.D. (This pen got an incomplete because it's leaking and I need to investigate further and fix the issue).
9. Jinhao 248 Lamy M nib dusty rose pen color with Straits Pen Honest Ink Bougainvillea Purple.
10. Jinhao 248 with stock Jinhao EF nib filled with Cross Black ink. Pen is a green color.
