The Flash is one of the most popular and influential characters in DC Comics, with his comics introducing the concept of the multiverse and Barry Allen's existence marking the start of the Silver Age. Both Barry Allen and Wally West have been important members of the Justice League in several iterations, whether in the DCAU, Zack Snyder’s DCEU movies, or Young Justice. The Flash’s recognizability isn’t far off from characters like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Despite this sentiment—and having a successful TV series in the CW Arrowverse—Warner Bros. seems to give The Flash the short end of the stick. The development studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins and Gotham Knights, WB Games Montréal, was working on a Flash solo game. However, it was canceled due to the poor reception of the Ezra Miller movie. James Gunn’s DCU has the chance to expand upon heroes who were poorly adapted in the previous DCU, hopefully starting strong with the new Superman movie. As far as we know, Wally West in the DCU is a member of the Teen Titans alongside Starfire and Robin.
