It is unfortunate that Reformed theology places the emphasis on repentance as necessary to receive eternal life. In doing so, they are removing the object of faith off Jesus and placing it onto works.

P.S. "repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand" has to do with the offer of the Messianic Kingdom to the nation of Israel, not for receiving eternal life. #JewishPerspective
